今週は赴任時のビザ、ワークパーミットの取得ついてです。
Q.
これから会社を設立し、1名日本人が赴任する予定です。事前にスケジュールを調整したいのですが、ビザの取得、ワークパーミットの取得にはどれぐらい期間がかかるのでしょうか。
One Japanese expat will work in our Thailand office after set up company. How long do we take to obtain Visa and Work Permit?

一般的なビザ・ワークパーミット取得の手順として、国外でのNon Immigrant B ビザ、入国してからワークパーミット、その後Non Immigrant Bビザの延長及びマルチプルへの切り替え、と大きく3ステップに分かれます。
There are 3 steps to obtain Visa and Work Permit in general;
- To apply Non Immigrant B Visa to Thai embassy in overseas
- To apply Work Permit after expat come to Thailand
- To apply Extension of Non Immigrant B Visa
国外でのNon Immigrant B ビザは日本など国外のタイ大使館で申請後、通常翌営業日に受領出来ます（タイ大使館HPでは3営業日後となっています）。当初のNon Immigrant B ビザは入国後90日間滞在が可能です。
We could normally receive Non Immigrant B Visa 1-3 working day after we’ve applied to Thai embassy. That Non Immigrant B Visa allows us to stay in Thailand 90 days.
ワークパーミットの申請にかかる注意点は2つあります。
１．入国してから半分以上経過（実質45日）していないと、ワークパーミット申請ができない
２．タイ人4人の雇用を証明するため、納税・社会保険納付の証明書が発行されてからでないと申請ができない
We have to take care about following 2 issues on Work Permit application;
- We must apply it 45 days after we entry into Thailand
- We must attach certification of tax(P.N.D.1/Personal Income Tax) and SSF(Social Security Fund to prove over 4 Thai staffs
Non Immigrant Bビザ延長は、ワークパーミットの取得後に申請して1ヵ月後に受領です。ただし、この期間の滞在は保証されます（この期間ビザは延長となります）。
延長したビザを1ヵ月後に受領し、その際にマルチプルに切替します。
We could receive Extended Non Immigrant B Visa 1 month after we’ve applied. Note that we could stay in this period after applied Extension of Non Immigrant B Visa. Then we will apply multiple Visa when we receive Extended Non Immigrant B Visa.
なお、BOI奨励に基づく申請を行う場合、BOI管轄の機関（OSOS）での申請になりますので、手続きが異なってまいります。また、ビザ、ワークパーミットはケースにより大きく手続きが異なるケースが多々ありますので、ご留意下さい。
That process is different in case we apply Visa/ Work Permit based on BOI (Board of Investment) since we need to apply to OSOS (One Start One Stop Investment Center of BOI). Please kindly take care about the process because some procedure is different depends on the situation.
