今週はマレーシアで加入が義務付けられている、社会保障についてご紹介をしたいと思います（但し、外国人については、加入義務はありません）。

Q マレーシアで加入が必要となる社会保障は何がごじますか。あればその割合等を教えてください。
Q Is there any mandatory Social security in Malaysia? If so, please tell me each contribution rate.
A マレーシアでは一般的に２種類の社会保障の加入が義務付けられています。
一つ目は、EPF(Employee Provident Fund)、２つ目はSOCSOと呼ばれるものになります。この二つは、外国人以外は加入が義務付けられています。マレーシア国籍のものは必ず入らなければなりません。
A In Malaysia, there are two general mandatory Social security. One of them is called “EPF”. The other one is called “SOCSO”. These two are mandatory for Malaysia, not for foreignes.
① EPF
EPFは基本給5,000RM以上とそれ以下で拠出する割合が変わってきます。
基本給5,000RM以上
企業：総支給額（月額）×１２％
従業員：総支給額（月額）×１１％
基本月給5,000RM以下
企業：総支給額（月額）×１３％
従業員：総支給額（月額）×１１％
① EPF
Contributions of EPF are changed in according with Basic monthly salary.
Over 5,000RM as basic salary
Company: Actual monthly salary ×12%
Employee: Actual monthly salary ×11%
Under 5,000RM as basic salary
Company: Actual monthly salary ×13%
Employee: Actual monthly salary ×11%
② SOCSO
SOCSOについては、総支給額（月額）が2,900RM以上であれば、一律企業側に負担額は、51.65RM、従業員負担額は14.75RMです。下記にて、政府が出しているカテゴリー別での負担額が出ていますので、下記のサイトをご参照ください。
これらの二つが、一般的に義務付けられているものです。
② SOCSO
You can see the government website and understand the amount of SOCSO. Maximum amount of company contribution is 51.65RM and Maximum amount of employee contribution is 14.75RM.

またこれ以外には、対象となる企業は限られますが、下記に該当する企業は、従業員の能力開発の支援をする目的でHRDF(人的開発局)への拠出が必要となります。
And if you are company in the list I will write below, you shall contribute to HRDF to develop employee skills.
③ HRDF
対象企業

① 従業員１０名以上の製造業
※従業員１０名〜４９名かつ資本金が2.5million RM以下の製造業は選択することができる。それ以外は登録が必要。
② 従業員１０名以上のサービス業
※詳しい定義は、下記のサイトを参照ください(サイト内のcategories of Employers Covered Under the PSMB Act 2001のとが該当します)。

③ 従業員５０名以上以上のスーパーマーケット、百貨店
④ 従業員５０名以上の鉱業
※１０名〜４９名の従業員で、資本金が2.5million RM以下は選択することができる。
⑤ 従業員３０名以上の飲食業
① Manufacturing company Over ten employees
※ Between 10 employees and 49 employees and less 2.5 million RM paid-up capital, they can choose whether pay or not. This company is optional-company.
② Service sector over 10 employees
※ Please see the government website to understand the define of Service sector. Please see the , in the categories of Employers Covered Under the PSMB Act 2001 in the website.

③ Higher and Mega market and department mall over 50 employees.
④ Mining over 50 employees
※ Between 10 employees and 49 employees and less than 2.5 million RM paid-up capital, they can choose whether pay or not. This company is optional-company.
⑤ Food and Beverage over 30 employees
拠出額は、選択できる権利がある会社は、月額総支給額の０．５％であり、義務付けられている企業は、月額総支給額の１．０％が拠出する額となります。新しく、２０１４年１月に追加された業種もございますので、特にサービス業はチェックが必要です。
The amount of payment is two ways.
- Actual monthly salary ×1%(Mandatory company)
- Actual monthly salary ×0.5%(Optional company)
