Regarding the last topic, within the core price index, prices of goods and services increased 0.23% and 0.36%, respectively.
Within the non-core price index, prices of agricultural products fell 1.02% and energy and tariffs authorized by the government fell 0.20% biweekly, according to data from the NCPI.
Localities with price variation above the national inflation in the first 15 days of March were Tepic, Tepatitlán, Chihuahua, Colima, Monclova, Tapachula, Cuernavaca, San Andres Tuxtla, Guadalajara and Toluca.
Meanwhile, localities with variations below the national inflation were Mexicali, Tehuantepec, Ciudad Acuna, San Luis Potosi, Fresnillo, Jacona, Chetumal, Huatabampo, Tulancingo and Ciudad Juarez, he adds.
