This week I would like to share the latest information regarding “Further Extension regarding Work Termination Ban”.
As some of you may already know very well, Turkish government has been taking various kinds of economic measures since the initial phase of COVID-19 pandemic including the employment support so as to help both employers and employees. Further extension regarding the prohibition of termination and unpaid leave was announced at the Official Gazette numbered 31202 published on July 31st. The prohibition of dismissal and employers’ option to put their employees on unpaid leave during was lastly extended until August 17th, though, the expiring date has been extended again until September 17th according to the new Presidential Decision.
