There is no specific regulation for working at home and standing by at home in Labor Protection Act or any other relevant regulation of Thailand. Therefore, the company need to pay the salary depends on the actual working time legally, and the company doesn’t have to pay salary for standing by at home.<\/span><\/p>\n

In practice, the company need to manage the time control. For example, some of the company manage working time with access\/login time of the company server or intranet in case the staffs work at home.<\/span><\/p>\n

As above mentioned, the company doesn’t have to pay salary for the time of standing by at home legally and they normally pay salary for the actual working time.
